An Evening With Jimmy Page In Conversation With Chris Cornell

To celebrate the publication of Jimmy Page’s official photographic autobiography – the first ever book by a member of Led Zeppelin – on November 12 at 8:30pm, Jimmy Page will appear on stage with Chris Cornell. During the course of a dialogue together, the audience will be invited to join Jimmy and Chris looking through unseen photos and memorabilia, many drawn from Jimmy's personal archives. Jimmy Page will be revisiting memories of his life in music – “from 13-year-old choirboy to Sixties session musician, through The Yardbirds to Led Zeppelin and beyond”.

The show takes place at the Theatre at Ace Hotel, Los Angeles. Tickets will be available as of Friday October 10 from local outlets, including Amoeba Music and Book Soup – and nationwide from Ticketmaster.

There will also be an AMEX presale starting Wednesday, October 8th at 10am PST and ending Thursday, October 9th at 10pm PST.

The evening is hosted by Genesis Publications with Guitar World and Guitar Aficionado.

Chris Cornell To Guest At Seattle Benefit Concert In Aid Of 15 Now

Chris Cornell is happy to announce that he will make a guest appearance alongside Tom Morello at a benefit concert for 15 Now – the grassroots organization that successfully fought for a $15 minimum wage in Seattle.

The concert on September 26 at Seattle’s historic El Corazon will be headlined by Morello (Audioslave,Rage Against the Machine) who will perform an acoustic set with a special guest appearance by Chris.

The event will help raise funds for the ongoing expansion of 15 Now nationwide and will also feature a host of additional local acts and political celebrities.

Soundgarden To Perform At 2014 NFL Kickoff

The NFL kicks off its 95th season with “2014 NFL KICKOFF PRESENTED BY XBOX” on Thursday, September 4.  SOUNDGARDEN and PHARRELL WILLIAMS will both perform prior to the game.
