Soundgarden released their comeback album 10 years ago. King Animal was recorded in Seattle (produced by Adam Kasper) except for Chris’s vocals which were all recorded in his home studio, TnC studio, which was named after Toni and Christopher Jr.
In the United States, the album debuted at number 5 on the Billboard 200.
Over 1 Billion views!!!! So proud of you – I hope you can see it, I know it would make you so happy! I remember when this video came out, every time I’d turn on the tv there you were, every single time without fail. You’d tell me it was a sign that you were my soul mate…. I love you so much and I’m so so proud and our babies are so so very proud. Christopher saw it before anyone, over a week ago and came running to the kitchen to show me; just beaming with pride for his daddy. We miss you and love you so very much.

This is a very special album as it’s the last he completed from start to finish- mastering and sequencing…

My father, Chris Cornell, taught me to help those that are less fortunate and to speak for those who do not have a voice. I am grateful to have visited the refugee camps with him and International Rescue Committee. For #WorldRefugeeDay this year I want to share this song we recorded together in honor of all he believed in. All proceeds from its sale on iTunes will go to the IRC, an organization he supported with his last video, The Promise , that was also released for World Refugee Day last year . Babies and children are being separated from their parents at the US border. It is not ok for this to continue. This isn’t about politics, it’s about children and babies.
